What is RF Forum?

RF Forum (rfforum.com) is an independent, international online community for RF and microwave engineering: circuit design, antennas, EM simulation, test and measurement, PA/LNA/mixers, wireless systems, components and microwave photonics / RF-over-fiber.

Is it free to join?

Yes. Registration is free and only needs a username, an email address and a password. Reading the forum does not require an account.

Which languages can I use?

English is the primary language so engineers worldwide can follow along. Chinese is welcome, especially in the Chinese Corner (中文交流) board.

What topics are allowed?

Engineering topics related to RF, microwave, antennas, photonics and wireless technology, plus learning and career questions. Political content is not allowed. Undisclosed advertising and spam are removed.

How do I format a post?

Posts are plain text. Line breaks and http(s) links are kept; HTML is shown as text. Include frequencies, parts, test setup and what you have already tried to get better answers.

Can vendors and manufacturers post?

Yes, as long as posts are technical and any commercial affiliation is disclosed. Pure advertisements will be removed.

How do I report spam or a problem?

Email admin@rfforum.com with the thread URL, or post feedback in the Announcements board.
