Welcome to RF Forum, an independent community for engineers, researchers and students working with RF, microwave, millimeter-wave and microwave-photonic systems.

What belongs here
- Design questions, measurement problems, simulation puzzles, layout reviews, learning resources and career discussion.
- Write-ups of things you built or debugged, including failures. A clear negative result is often more useful than a polished success story.

How to ask a good question
1. State the frequency range, bandwidth, power levels and impedance environment.
2. Say what you expected, what you measured, and how you measured it (instrument, calibration, cables, fixtures).
3. Include schematics, S-parameter plots or simulation setups when you can. Strip anything covered by an NDA.
4. Follow up and post the solution when you find it, so the next person benefits.

Ground rules
- Be respectful. Disagree about physics, not about people.
- No unsolicited advertising. Vendors are welcome to answer technical questions; disclose your affiliation when you mention your own products.
- Do not post confidential or export-controlled material.
- AI-generated answers must be checked by you before posting, and you remain responsible for their accuracy.

Language
English is the default language so that the community stays international. Chinese-language discussion is welcome in the 中文交流 / Chinese Corner board.

Posts are plain text: line breaks are kept and http(s) links become clickable, but HTML is shown as text. Moderators may move, lock or remove threads that break these rules. Suggestions for the forum itself are welcome in this category.
