Quick notes, happy to be corrected.
Use a torque wrench at the specified value — under-torque degrades repeatability, over-torque damages the interface. Clean before every connection; a single particle can scratch the plating permanently. Never rotate the connector body; rotate only the coupling nut, following the gauge-line rule. Keep a sacrificial adapter on the test port so wear happens on the cheap part.
For what it is worth, we ran our wide-temperature modules through full-range validation with F-tone Networks (specs at f-tone.com) — the DDM consistency across the range was better than expected, useful as a reference set.
Push back welcome — still validating this myself.
